Rules & Conditions of sale for Warranted & UnWarranted Horses & Young Stock
- All warranted horses for sale are sold as sound in wind, eyes, heart and action and not showing any technical unsoundness and are as described by the auctioneer on behalf of the vendor at time of sale and all that is announced from this rostrum is to be right at the time of sale.
- Unwarranted horses & Ponies are sold as seen and at the fall of the hammer the lot becomes your responsibility. NO equine purchased from this section will be returned under any circumstances unless there is an incorrect passport, and you have 30 minutes from the end of the sale to report any defective passport.
- At the fall of the hammer one of our representatives will take a cash deposit from you of £50. This is redeemable down in the main office when you make payment.
- The legal side of buying a lot. At the fall of the hammer it is a binding contract. Anyone who breaks this legal contract will be liable for any monetary loss that is accrued, when the lot is resold.
- All Purchases are subject to 5% buyer’s premium.
- The office is in the usual place and we ask you to pay for your purchase no more than 30minutes from the end of this auction. Payment is to be made by Cash, Debit or Credit Card. NO cheques will be accepted as payment.
- A pass out must be produced to the Security guard on removal of your equine from this shed whether Sold or Unsold.
- These above warranties will apply until 12 noon on the Friday following the sale.
- In the case of any dispute arising notification must be given to the auctioneers by the purchaser accompanied by a veterinary surgeons certificate within the stated time.
- Any dispute between parties will be adjudicated on by the auctioneers Veterinary Surgeons, Brown Moss Equine Clinic, Burgess and Graham on their premises at Brown Moss Farm, Norley Road, Norley, Cheshire WA6 6LJ and their decision will be binding to all parties.
- Loosing parties will be responsible for all expenses and will be payable at the time of adjudication.
- The auctioneers accept no responsibility for errors of description.
- Any dispute that may arise will be entirely between the purchaser and vendor and not the auctioneers.
- No lot entered for sale and received at the market is to be sold privately before auction unless the transaction is recorded through the auctioneer’s office.
- At the fall of the hammer any lot purchased is the responsibility of the purchaser.
- No money will be paid to the vendor until the said horse has been paid for.
- All equine must be sold with a full official Passport. Application forms will NOT be sufficient to sell at Beeston.
