BEESTON WARRANTED AND UN-WARRANTED HORSE & PONY SALES

Wright Manley has been experienced in Horse auctions for over 100 years. The Cheshire Horse and Pony sales at Beeston are renowned throughout the Midlands and North West. Usually two sales per month take place, always on Wednesday. Usually at these sales up to 120 Warranted & Unwarranted horses are offered for sale, as well as up to 1000 lots of saddlery and tack.

SALE PROCEDURE

1. Unload your horse at the sale shed in Beeston.
2. Book in your horse with the reception clerk.
3. Give full details Your Name & Address, and details on your horse.
4. Our staff will assist you to pen your horse then bring it into the ring at the time of sale.
5. You may put a reserve on the horse.
6. Once the horse has been sold. Please make sure that the horse has been paid for at the office.
7. Your Cheque will be available in 1 week from the sale, if you do not pick it up we will send it to you.

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR WARRANTED AND UNWARRANTED HORSES AND YOUNG STOCK

1. All warranted horses for sale are sold as sound in wind, eyes, heart and action and not showing any technical unsoundness and are as described by the auctioneer on behalf of the vendor at time of sale.

2. Horses and ponies that are sold under warranty must be quiet to ride and quiet in traffic and in case of riding ponies under 14 hands, manageable by an average child appropriate to their age.

3. These above warranties will apply until 12 noon on the Friday following the sale.

4. In the case of any dispute arising notification must be given to the auctioneers by the purchaser accompanied by a veterinary surgeons certificate within the stated time.

5. Any dispute between parties will be adjudicated on by the auctioneers Veterinary Surgeons, Messrs Greenway, Burgess and Graham on their premises at Rose Cottage Farm, Gorstage, Northwich and their decision will be binding to all parties.

6. Loosing parties will be responsible for all expenses and will be payable at the time of adjudication.

7. The auctioneers accept no responsibility for errors of description.

8. Any dispute that may arise will be entirely between the purchaser and vendor and not the auctioneers.

9. No lot entered for sale and received at the market is to be sold privately before auction unless the transaction is recorded through the auctioneer’s office.

10. At the fall of the hammer any lot purchased is the responsibility of the purchaser.

No money will be paid to the vendor until the said horse has been paid for.

COMMISSION RATES AND BUYERS PREMIUM

ENTRY FEE - £5.00 on each entry

HORSES - Commission 6% + VAT Minimum £20

PONIES, DONKEYS AND YOUNGSTOCK - Commission 6% + VAT Minimum £10

BUYERS PREMIUM BUYERS WILL BE CHARGED 5% + VAT ON THE HAMMER PRICE

SADDLERY & TACK SALES

Regular sales are held every Wednesday except the 1st in the month. Tack & Saddles are entered on the morning of sale from 8am. The sale commences at 10am stopping for approximately an hour at 12 Noon to start the sell the saddles.

COMMISSION RATES

TACK - 15% (+Vat on the commission) Minimum £1 per lot. (0.25p per lot will be charged on unsold lots)

SADDLES - 15% (+Vat on the commission) Minimum £4 per saddle. (£2 per saddle will be charged on unsold lots)
